My last child was born in the water at home. Moving into the birth pool during the hardest part of labor gave me tremendous relief and allowed me to easily move into a semi-squat position to deliver my 9lb 13.5 oz son. My own experience with water to labor and birth was positive and I strongly advocate the use of water as a natural coping method for labor and birth.
